Overbelasting, te grote ontlading en grote laad- en ontlaadstromen voor externe batterij, 18650 lithiumcellen
Overladen van de batterij wordt vermeden. Overbelasting van de lithium-ionbatterij zal leiden tot ernstige schade aan de prestaties van de batterij en zelfs tot een explosie.
Voorkom diepontlading onder de 2V of 2,5V, omdat dit de lithium-ionbatterij snel en permanent zal beschadigen. Interne metalen beplating kan optreden, wat een kortsluiting kan veroorzaken, waardoor de batterij onbruikbaar of onveilig wordt.
